Entomology is turning out to be a pretty interesting course, but soooooo much information! Today we keyed out major orders by basic morphology and I took some pictures which turned out not too bad considering I took them on the fly (haha yes pun intended) during an info-filled lab period. These are taken with my Olympus point-and-shoot THROUGH one eyepiece of a stereoscope. I'm sure there's better ways to photograph insects, but these are actually surprisingly clear!
